Our Story

Yousafi Art is a portfolio website of khalid Javed yousafi, began as an online platform showing the emerging artwork of khalid Yousafi. We have evolved into an arts organization promoting visual art through curated projects and exhibitions.

We have evolved into an art platform exhibiting works of Mr khalid yousafi who possesses 50 years of experience in the field of Islamic calligraphy.

Yousafi art is a proud owner of some of the best calligraphy in Pakistan, we exclusively present art pieces of Mr. Khalid Yousafi student of late janab Hafiz Muhammad yousuf sadeedi shb.

Yousafi Art is exhibited in various organizations including FWO, Construction Technology And Training Institute,Allama Iqbal open university, Quaid e Azam university and abroad as well.

Our goal is to promote art and quality content specifically in the field of calligraphy for true art lovers, while providing them understanding and knowledge regarding this important heritage of Muslim Art.

Distinctions:

  1. Awarded a gold medal by “Pakistan Calligraph-Artists’ guild”, Lahore.
  2. Participated in a 15 days calligraphy exhibition and workshop of high profile in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, organized by the consulate general of Pakistan, 16 artists were invited from Pakistan in September, 2011. I was fortunately head of the delegation.
  3. Visited “Baghdad International Festival of Arabic Calligraphy” 1988.
  4. Selected as a judge in a National Competition (1998) and an International Competition (2007).
  5. Awarded a shield on best performance by AIOU on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee 1998.
  6. Delivered a series of lectures on four scripts of calligraphy for the students of B.A. level in F.G College for Women F-7/2, Islamabad, in 1987.
  7. Judge in Fine Arts/Hobbies Competition in Govt. Gordon College, Rawalpindi in 1998, and many other colleges / Schools.
